Ciovo is an island connected via bridge to the UNESCO protected town Trogir. Trogir is located in the centre of Dalmatia, on the eastern coastline of Adriatic Sea. The heart of Trogir is small islet laying between the mild sloped hills on the mainland and the coast of the Island of Ciovo. Small town of 12000 citizens is the centre of Trogir micro - region that covers about 250km2. This is a touristy area with a number of private accommodation apartments but not many hotels. The town Trogir is also a famous nautical destination, which has a large yacht marina. Each summer many celebrities visit it. Just to name a few, Bernie Eclestone, Luciano Benetton, Eddie Irvine, Gwyneth Paltrow etc. Town offers unique Greek and Roman architecture as well as the number of restaurants, bars and shops for quality leisure time.
